A note from the CEO of Lundy Construction Co., Inc.:
It goes without saying that we are all in this together. This is an open letter to our employees and customers. If you are an employee and see this, please share it with your co-workers should you get a chance (from a 6′ distance!!)
Right now, some of our field employees are working on projects for “essential” business customers. We ask that they exercise the best practices when it comes to mitigating the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing, hand washing and the usage of masks. I implore you to keep practicing these behaviors until this is well past us. Management will be in touch with you from time to time throughout this pandemic to keep you abreast of what we are doing. So, stay tuned.
To our customers, please be advised that our organization is working, having all of our management employees networked in to share resources and collectively navigate through this very different time. Remember, if you are my age and in your 50s or 60s or even a little older, it wasn’t all that long ago our nation made common sacrifices to sustain our culture though another catastrophic period called the 2nd world war, where the enemy was actually determined to kill us, not just make us sick. We got through it then, we will get through it again. In the meantime, know that if you have a project underway with us we are ordering materials, scheduling our forces for the day we are allowed to return to work and just generally, preparing ourselves and your jobs for completion as soon as possible after this stay at home order is lifted.
In the meantime, we have a talented design department, that is tied into the office design resources and is prepared to start or complete any designs for projects that you may be contemplating. We are happy to do what if scenarios for your building projects. Don’t be the last to take advantage of this service, be ready to go when the economy starts to heat back up.
